Fifty-one years working together as a team, illustration artists Nguyễn Thị Hợp and Nguyễn Đồng have adorned book and magazine covers across the oceans. Starting their careers in the 1960s in the South of Vietnam, they later moved to Germany and then to the U.S. With soft, smooth strokes, they portray Vietnamese history, culture and folk tales with colors and images that are alluring, touching and intimate, like the memories of their grandmas.
